We met the some people that own the oldest cabin in Jasper and they have some information in books history books about that camp as well.
No. I'm not that vain, egotistical, or named Williams, not to mention it's illegal to name a peak after a living person. Some wonderful residents there in Jasper petitioned and named the peak after my late grandfather, Cecil Williams. In 1950 he was a co-founder of the Phillips University Science Camp about 10 miles down the road from Jasper.
