After an amazing weekend with temps almost 60 degrees, the snow began yesterday afternoon and let up finally mid morning today leaving behind 4" of powder. The Hi today was 24. We were in the middle of a big melt off when this recent cold snap kicked in making things icy and dicey.
More sun expected tomorrow with High's in the 20's.
Dude's Road Report....
Forest Service Road 250 as of 6pm Monday night was "Treacherous" from Terrace Reservoir to Jasper, due to melted wet snow with fresh powder on top. Heavy snow and blowing winds made visibility extremely poor with travel speeds under 10mph. Roads remain snowpacked here in town. The road down to the spring.......always an adventure!!!
